Unlike larger commercial coffee plantations in Chikkamagaluru, Coorg—Karnataka’s robusta hub—houses a cluster of small holdings known for inter copping coffee with native plants. As Suhas Dwarkanath drives the Hyundai TUCSON from Wayanad to Mojo Plantations, a huge diversity of fauna welcomes him to the verdant jungles. Follow along his journey through these photos as he reaches out to botanist and planter, Dr. Sujata Goel to learn about the symbiotic relationship between coffee and wildlife that freely roams these hilly slopes.
