At the southernmost tip of India, the quaint coastal town of Kanniyakumari resides in the namesake district, the smallest in Tamil Nadu. Boasting pristine beaches with a vast coastline on three sides, towering cascades as well as grand monuments, each visit is sure to serenade the orbs of a traveller. The spell bounding natural opulence of the town stretches to house the only place in the world from where one can witness sunrises and sunsets from the same position. Further, the blues engulfing the township furnish a slate for the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean to make acquaintance. Its proximity to cities such as Chennai, Coimbatore and Pondicherry make it a hub for those looking to escape the daily hustle on a relaxing getaway.
