This week, Jet Airways and National Geographic Traveller India come together to celebrate women and travel at Festivelle, a two-day cultural event in Mumbai open exclusively to women. There’s plenty to do: music performances, sets by stand-up comics, and workshops and seminars—and we’ve got something lined up too.
From noon to 6p.m. every day, our travel experts will be hanging out at the Jet Airways stall to discuss topics ranging from wellness breaks to heritage holidays and how to plan your first solo vacation. Chat with outdoors-loving writers from Nat Geo Traveller India as well as some of our favourite travellers to inspire you to take the holiday of your dreams.
We also have a smashing contest from Jet Airways in the run-up to Festivelle: Simply share a photo from an all-girls holiday you took (maybe even decades ago) and you could win two tickets to Amsterdam. More on the contest here.
Here’s who you can meet at Festivelle:
Neha Sumitran is NGT India’s perpetually hungry Web Editor. She loves the great outdoors and hopes to have a farm near the mountains someday.
Ansoo Gupta has travelled to over 60 countries around the world, exploring the world on her own and with her family. Ansoo believes that everyone should get out and travel, and conducts workshops to help people do just that.
Saumya Ancheri is NGT India’s Assistant Web Editor. She loves places by the sea and travels to shift her own boundaries.
Prachi Joshi will travel anywhere for good food and coffee. A corporate marketer now turned writer, she’s partial to places with rich culinary traditions.
Kareena Gianani is NGT India’s Associate Editor and a self-confessed culture geek. She loves stumbling upon hole-in-the-wall bookshops and old towns.
