Meet Norway’s Brave New Explorer: Frida the Sheep

She’s funny, loves hiking, and Instagrams as @SheepWithAView.

Norway’s finest new explorers love kids, mountains, and have great hair—or so the Instagram account @SheepWithAView would have us believe. The profile puts the spotlights on “four of Norway’s finest woolly wanderers”: sheep called Frida, Erik, Lars, and Kari, and their adventures across the country.

At every stop along the way, they post a short, often funny post, about the landscapes around them, from dramatic fjords to snow-covered mountains and meadows dotted with (delicious) wildflowers. The account is run by “Visit Norway”, the country’s official travel guide.

Scroll below for scenes from their lives.
