Right Angle: Travel Photos from a Rare Perspective

Snapshots from Myanmar, Cuba, and France. | By NGT Staff

A good photo is one that offers a different point of view, like this image of a family in Myanmar having lunch on a boat. Photo contest website Photocrowd.com recently challenged photographers to “submit images from their travels which show places and people from an entirely different perspective”. One of the winning images was of soapbox riders in Peru: kids who help stranded trucks on the highway with food and spare parts, and in return, hang on to the vehicle for a joyride. Click through for more of the contest images, rich in local flavour while going beyond the usual photography suspects.
